Purva Skywood

Purva Skywood is a new project that has been launched by Purvankara on Harlur Road off Sarjarpur road. I have guessed it correctly from the contest that was run on FM radio.

I Live near KR Puram and I am not that comfortable with that area. Since, I had explored some options in HM symphony, SJR Verity and Oceanus Monarda, I knew that there is one more parallel road caller Harlur Road.

My first travel to this road was in the evening around 5:30 or so .... was shocked.... the road had too many turns....It is a narrow road and it was very much inside....the road is not straight and it is difficult to drive.....I was really happy that I had finally located the site.... at one point.... I thought ... I should turn back but I didn't get any space on that narrow road to turn even back.....


Someone told me that harlur road will be upgraded to 100 ft road. If the road is not straight, the width will not make any difference. Your commute time will not change.


It seems there is one more direction from HSR Layout.... but since it was not shown in the location map initially.... I didn't try those.... probably Purva should have been little careful in marketing this project...


In PFS, several resale apartments are available at almost the same rate + 5L (max).

I have not been able to convince myself yet for Purva Skywood. You can give it a try though.

Shriram Spandhana

The premium class apartment complex Shriram Spandhana is in the IT Hub Bangalore spread over 12 acres with over 500 apartments.

It was launched in 2004/2005 time when I used to stay in Wind Tunnel Road.

It would have been a really bad decision to book a flat @ that time in this complex as
  • Airport was close by and there was lot of sound of aircraft. Now that it has shifted, it should be OK.
  • The road @ that time was really horrible. I don't know how it is now. Long time, I have not taken that route.It should have improved now.

How many builders have provided accommodation to at least 5,000 families in Bangalore?

The builder must have done at least 5 projects of decent size apartment complexes. They must have provided accommodation to at least 1000 families in Bangalore. It is useless to rate a builder in case he has failed to provide accommodation to 1K families also. At least, 1000 people should know them.

Alert - Home Loan

Have come across an interesting case and thought i will share it with you.

A friend of mine was considering a resale apartment in Kaggadaspura.

ICICI bank refused loan saying that it doesn't have BBMP or BDA approval.

Interestingly, the same bank (ICICI) has  given the loan to its existing owner in 2001. It had some village panchayat approval or something like that. The owner still has an outstanding loan amount and he is still paying to ICICI and documents are still with ICICI.

Can we trust ICICI Bank now?
Were they really loose in 2001/2002 time?

Please choose SBI where ever possible.
